Macaroni With Minced Beef And Mushroom Sauce

Pasta with cheese ... yummy

My daughter is very fond of Italian food especially  with this bolognese (Italian), bolognaise (French) sauce. I know Italian authentic Bolognese need hours of cooking time and I don't have that much time ^_^ so this version is a QUICK one.

Ingredients
150 Gramms macaroni (sea shell type), cook until just tender, set aside.
250 Gramms minced beef.
100 Gramms mushroom (there are great variety of mushroom, just pick up your choice), thickly sliced or chopped.
Cheddar cheese, grated.
1 Garlic clove, finely chopped.
1 Onion, finely sliced.
Salt (to taste).
White pepper or black pepper (to taste).
1/2 Teaspoon oregano.
1/2 teaspoon white sugar (to taste)
1 Big red tomato, finely chopped or use your food processor.
100 Ml cold water.

Directions
1. Melt butter into medium high heat.
2. Add garlic, stir-fry until aromatic.
3. Add meat, salt, sugar, oregano and white pepper, stir-fry untill the meat lightly brown.
4. Add tomato, mushroom and onion and reduce the heat into a gentle simmer and leave to cook for about 25 minutes (if liquid evaporate too fast, just add more water)
6. Increase the heat so the sauce begins to thicken.
7. Spoon macaroni into your plate, top with sauce and then a sprinkling of grated cheddar cheese.

Happy cooking !
