Fried Corn Noodles With Shrimp

Love this ... spicy ..

In our language, we call this Bihun Jagung Goreng. Bihun jagung is kind of noodles made of corn just like rice vermicelli that is made of rice. Goreng means fried. If you don't find any corn noodles in your area just buy rice noodle/rice vermicelli ... hmmm if you still can not fine .. then pasta will be fine .. no worry ^^


Ingredients
100 grams corn noodles
3 red pepper / red chillies
1 garlic clove
3 shallots
1 tomato (small one) or half tomato

1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt (due to your taste)
1/4 teaspoon sugar
100 grams shirmp
Celery
1 onion

Preparations
1. Corn noodles, soaked in warm water for 1 hour, drained and set aside.
2. Blend red pepper, garlic, shallots and tomato
3. Celery, finely chopped
4. shrimps, rinsed
5. Onion, thinly sliced

Directions
1. Heat up a small amount of cooking oil into a wok.
2. Stir-fry shrimps, red pepper, garlic, shallots and tomato until aromatic.
3. Add white pepper, salt, sugar and celery, stir-fry.
4. Add onion and corn noodles, stir fry until mostly dry
